Job descriptionOur company are looking for an Office Administrator / Receptionist with knowledge in IT to join our Dubai office located in Tecom. The focus will be to work to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards. As a Receptionist, the candidate will be the first point of contact for our company. Our Receptionist’s duties include offering administrative support across the organization as needed. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls. The successful candidate should have a pleasant and approachable personality. she should also be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this positionThe Role• Answer telephone, screen and direct calls• Take and relay messages• Maintain boardroom diaries either manually or electronically• Organize conference and meeting room bookings• Monitor office equipment (Binders, scanners etc.)• Receive and sort mail and delivery of packages.• Ensure that reception area is manned at all times during working hours and is kept clean and tidy.• Welcome visitors and ensure they are greeted in a friendly professional manner at all times and offered a beverage while they wait.• Ensure Safety of company and assets ensured by restricting access of non-employees (vendors).Essential • High Knowledge in IT desirable and essential.• Excellent Microsoft Office professional proficiency• Handling ISO 9001, 18001, 14001• Arabic, both oral and written• Cordial relationships with clients• Multi-task handling ability and knowledge of administrative procedures• Experience in coordinating and/or managing a team of admin staff (drivers, office helpers, etc.) Skills• Flexibility of attitude towards company objectives• Cultivate good relationships with colleagues at all levels of the organization• Collaborating with a dispersed team and taking ownership and responsibility for own areas of work• Attention to detail and proactive• Good and professional verbal and written communication skills• Friendly and reliableQualifications • High School Qualification is essential• Degree preferred
